  Wifey divorced me bc I was an "apostate" in her devout JW mind.......This is honestly the primary reason she kicked me out and went to defcon 5 IMO.’

  One of the elders commented: ‘½ of JW’s are here to test the other ½’

  This cliché is used as a useless excuse for everyone’s judgmental behavior. It don’t fly with me! JWs are downright judgmental from the top down, inside and out.

  Eric you really caught them off guard with your prayer. It was a somewhat comical and yet a serious moment at the same time. In the end I too was moved to say Amen to your prayer!

  Thank you one hell of a lot for all you did!

  WOW! That 1947 Awake (‘Are You Also Excommunicated’) is a keeper article. Any who are in the thresholds of being hauled into a JC for whatever reason should keep this article handy. I know I am!

  I wonder how many Elders are aware of this article. Another reason why WT chose to no longer make these old articles available.

  Giving to charities

  when you were active jws did you ever give to charities?

  anyone else you know in the cong.

  as for me, i do give on occasion and when i am able to.

  My goodness, NO! Never, never, never. After all, the *only* thing people need is WT literature! Why would/should they need or require anything else??

  The "preaching" work (knocking on empty homes) is the most important work that could ever be done on the earth today. Why waste time, money, energy, etc. on such frivolous things like trying to help people in a physical way? Why try to feed or shelter people who are going to be killed off soon (any day now!) anyway?’

  That is exactly how JWs the world over have been trained to think when it comes to helping out your fellow man! That is unity of thought!

  Did You Know A Lot Of Elders That Simply Weren't Too Bright?

  i did.. most of the elders were decent men but i'd say a third weren't the brightest bulbs in the sky..
